I don’t understand why my start time is 30 minutes late because there are no carts from groups of 4 being sent out by the starter in 4 separate carts… From the conditions to the staff you can just tell they don’t really care about the golfer’s experience. No paths are marked, holes are really close and the pace of play is packed so tight that balls from other players are flying really close to you and cars. It may be a low price but a higher price somewhere else is worth a better experience than this.

Very friendly staff. Very good layout. Very reasonable rates. Would have given five stars but it was a little dry but it hasn't rained. Greens were in pretty good shape. I'll be back for sure.

Garbage course! Staff is rude and so are the people who play the course. Ranger came to warn us we were “not keeping up with pace” on the first fairway and by the 2nd hole, we were stuck behind another foursome waiting every single hole. Worked at a golf course for 5 years and I can say this is one of the worst managed in central Florida. You can find much better for your money!

Mayfair Country Club offers 18-holes of quality golf, a practice range, a putting green, and a practice bunker. Many notable golf legends such as Arnold Palmer, Gene Sarazen, Moe Norman, and Sam Snead have all enjoyed playing the Mayfair layout. Today the course is in good condition, there is one temporary tee box and one green that is in fairly bad shape, otherwise the course is in good shape. It’s a very reasonable price for the quality of the course, however, the staff seemed less than friendly, probably because we’re not locals. I believe four is a fair rating and I would return him play again.

I’d like to give it another star because it’s a really cool layout, and the green complexes are amazing. But… the conditions are too poor. The tee boxes were commonly not level and a little choppy. The fairways were spotty, and you bounced around in the cart a lot. But the greens were mostly really nice and fast. It’s the classic example of “if they just sank some money into it…”. But l did enjoy the round. I didn’t use the practice facilities at all. The cart was old, noisy, no GPS or USB. And someone thought it would be a good idea to put the driving range next to the parking lot.

Back in the day, with great fairways, I bet this was a top course. Layout is just challenging enough but with improving of equipment it has surpassed this place. The design, with equipment back from 50+ years ago you can tell created forced maneuvering and strategy. Now you can blast driver over trees and bunkers that once forced decisions. Most greens were good, however plenty of fairways needed help. Half the fairway would be really good, the other half be dirt. No in-between. For a hot deal price of $25 that's a pretty great deal.
